Elder Hughes

We are excited to begin a missionary update blog for Elder Alex Hughes! We received our 1st letter from him today :) His MTC experience has just begun and his companion's name is Elder Williamson from Charleston, West Virginia. He also shares a room with Elder Karrati, from Provo & originally Hawaii and Elder Willet, from Mesa, AZ. He will have his P-days on Fridays for now. He has already begun his French classes and starting Thursday his teacher, Frère Thomas, will speak 99% of the time in French. They are also teaching "investigators" in full French, which they began on the first day following a few short orientation meetings...crazy huh! He is in good hands...I really believe that. And we are slowly getting used to not having him here with us. We are so thankful for the blessings that we've already received and look forward to an amazing adventure. :)
